Menongue — MPs of the National Assembly (Parliament) belonging to the 2nd, 6th and 7th commissions start next Monday a four-day work visit to the south-eastern Kuando Kubango province to learn, among others, about the current state of various public sectors.
The delegation, made up of five MPs and senior staffs of the Parliament, led by MP Maria Sebita João Pertence, will hold a courtesy meeting with the provincial governor, João Baptista Tchindandi, ANGOP learnt Friday from a press release.
The visiting delegation will also present greetings to the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Menongue, Don Mário Lukunde, and meet with the local secretary of the Nucleus of Support to the National Assembly, stressed the source.
According to the note, the 2nd and 7th commissions will meet with the management boards of the department of Health, Research and Planning, so as to get acquainted about the implementation of the government's programme for the 2007/2008 biennium, among other activities to be carried out in the province.
