Luanda

The teams of Santos FC and Petro de Luanda face off on Tuesday, at Coqueiros Stadium, in the opening match of the sixth round of the national first division soccer tournament, Girabola-2008.

The "derby" of the country's capital between the leaders, Petro with 15 points, and second placed (Santos 13 points) will be anticipated due to Petro's involvement in the African Cups, where they play on the weekend against Manga Sport of Gabon, for the second leg of the qualifiers to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Cup.

Due to the same reason, the teams of 1º de Maio de Benguela, Interclube and 1º de Agosto will also play during the week, in order to prapare for their second leg matches of the African competitions to be played on the weekend, since all Angolan teams are trailing on points.
