Angola: Governor Considers 'Caldo Do Poeira' As Movement of Union Amongst Angolans

The governor of south-west Namibe province, Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto Sunday here considered the "Caldo do Poeira" live music programme as an important cultural movement that can be used to unite Angolans.

Speaking at the "Camping Park", venue of the 69th edition of the referred music event, the official recognised that holding this programme in the provinces, with highlight to Namibe, the lovers of local music, especially, and Angolans in general, have the opportunity to know learn about other cultures.

At the occasion, Boavida Neto expressed the intension of transforming "Caldo do Poeira" that happens in Namibe into a cultural parliament of Angola.

According to the government official, the majority of attendants of this cultural event are MPs, since the participants are the ones of make the unity and union in this great cultural movement.

In a brief speech, Boavida Neto dedicated a special message to singer Elias Diakimuezu, who during his performance could not hold his tears due to his persistence in favour of the Angolan music.
