Angola: Ruling MPLA Regrets Human Losses At Dnic Headquarter

The Politburo of Angola's governing party MPLA Monday lamented the losses of human lives and injuries of several people after the collapse of the National Criminal Investigation Department (DNIC) seven-floor building in Luanda on Saturday.

According to a communiqué issued by MPLA on Monday made available to Angop, the ruling party says that it was with deep surprise and worry that the Politburo of MPLA learnt of the collapse of DNIC headquarter.

With this unusual event, that affects all the Angolan nation due to its repercussions, the partisan organ pays homage to the victims and encourages the tireless efforts of the State institutions and people in general, thus expressing their solidarity towards the victims.

"At this moment of deep sorrow, on behalf of every militant and friend of the party, the MPLA presents to mourning families, Home Ministry and DNIC its most felt condolences", reads the documents.

On the other hand, the governing party wishes a quick recovery of those injured in the accident and a normal functioning of this vital institution of the country's justice system.
