Cameroons soccer legend and Roving Ambassador, Albert Roger Milla, Saturday, March 29, was nominated FECAFOOT Honorary President by the Federation's General Assembly meeting that took place at Hotel Mont Febe, Yaounde.

The decision was arrived at by 163 out of the 169 members of the General Assembly as stated by Article 25 of FECAFOOT regulations.Milla's nomination came on the hills of a proposal made by 27 of the 29 FECAFOOT Executive Committee members that held a meeting on Friday, March 28, in Yaounde, chaired by the Federations President, Mohammed Iya.

The General Assembly adopted the reports made by a commission that Roger Milla was to come out with a balance sheet of the just-ended African Cup of Nations and a programme for the up coming 2010 World Cup billed for South Africa.

Also, as part of the resolution, Tombi Aroko was co-opted into the Executive Bureau of the Federation to replace Ngango Otto, of blessed memory.The Executive Committee decided to modify FECAFOOT to international standard as stipulated by the World Football Governing Body, FIFA.

Meantime, the General Assembly, adopted the rules and regulations guiding the Feminine National Division I & II championships and the Cup of Cameroon.The General Assembly also endorsed Mohammed Iya's activities for the year from March 2007 when the Assembly last met till March 2008.
