Eritrea: Italian And Norwegian Tourists Laud Prevailing Peace And Security in Country And Its Rich Tourism Potentials

Tourists from Italy and Norway highly appraised the prevailing peace and security in Eritrea, as well as its rich tourism potentials.

A group of 40 Italian tourists who visited Asmara, Massawa, Keren, Mendefera and the Dahlak Islands stated that Eritrea is not only an island of peace and stability in the war-torn Horn region but also a land of unity and amity.

One of the visitors, Mr. Pietro Ivoni, said that he was impressed by the classic steam engine locomotive and fascinated by the spectacular Eritrean landscape. He further explained that Eritrea is endowed with different flora and fauna, in addition to major tourist destinations.

Another Italian tourist, Mr. Mauro Martinilli, said that he was highly impressed with the warmness and hospitality of the Eritrean people. He further expressed admiration to Asmara's Art Deco and its neatness.

Similarly, other Italian tourists, namely Giancarlo Gramata, Gabriela Masoero, Serasina Alello and Marialuise Mansi expressed high impression about the salubrious Eritrean weather, as well as its rich and diverse tourism resources.

In a related development, tourists from Norway who visited the Anseba region said that Eritreans are people who deeply cherish their identity and cultural values. They are also people who lead their lives through hard work, the tourists added. The tourists further expressed their admiration to the prevailing peace, security and stability in the country.

The Norwegian tourists are Ms. Marry Paulson, Ms. Seri Bloc, and Ms. Mariel Scoldom.
