Angola: Premier's Aide, President of Principality of Asturias On Cooperation Reinforcement

The assistant minister of the prime minister, Aguinaldo Jaime Monday here met with the President of the Principality of Asturias, Vicente Alvarez, with whom he discussed aspects linked to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the economic and political fields.
Vicente Alvarez, in Luanda for a three-day official visit, said at the end of the meeting that the Principality of Asturias intends to have Angola as a privileged partner in its economic and political relations in Africa, as well as define the bases of support to the ongoing national reconstruction process.
According to the President of the Principality of Asturias, "We came to Angola to work seriously towards the future, aware that Spain is a country that always supported Angola during all process of reconstruction".
The Principality of Asturias also defended the establishment of a cooperation that boosts Angola to develop its economic potential, by diversifying the productive sector and creating solid bases of economic growth.
The President of the Principality of Astoria strengthened the idea of establishing a privileged relation with Angola, through the 2006/2008 Africa Plan that establishes development strategies of the African continent.

The Principality of Asturias is an autonomous community, whose title of Prince of Asturias is attributed to the heir to the throne of Spain.
