Angola: Police Meets Families of Dnic Tragedy Victims

Luanda — The general command of the National Police Monday met with relatives of prisoners who died at the National Criminal Investigation Department (DNIC) building that collapsed, in order to prepare their burial.

According to a press release that ANGOP had access to, the National Police reiterates its consternation and leans to the sorrow of the families and friends of the victims, and is ready to assume the funeral expenses by offering coffins, logistics assistance, as well as preparing a proper burial for the dead.

In the communiqué, the police thanked for the support granted by the media, by showing their professionalism in covering the tragic accident, informing with truth, fairness and without sensationalism.
