Luanda — The increment of bilateral cooperation between Angola and Nicaragua, in various fields, is one of issues contained in a written message from the Latin American country's president, Daniel Ortega, to his Angolan counterpart, José Eduardo dos Santos.
The message was delivered by the special envoy of Nicaraguan leader, Bayardo Arce Castanho, during a meeting with the Angolan deputy minister of Foreign Affairs for Cooperation, Irene Neto.
At the end of the audience, the special envoy of President Daniel Ortega, said that he is in Angola to study with the local authorities mechanisms that contribute to the re-launching of bilateral cooperation.
Bayardo Arce Castanho reminded that the two countries have common historical aspects and belong to international organisations, such as the United Nations (UN).
