Angola: Ambassador Consternated With Dnic Collapse Victims

Luanda — The Angolan ambassador to Canada, Miguel Maria Nzau Puna, Monday showed consternation towards the victims of DNIC building that collapsed on Saturday dawn in Luanda, thus he addresses to the mourning families his condolences.

In the same message, sent to the country's Home Minister, Roberto Leal Monteiro, the diplomat praises also the efforts made by the government in the mobilisation of supports meant to rescue the victims and the assistance paid to survivors.

During a meeting with the employees of diplomatic mission, Nzau Puna asked for one minute of silence in homage to the victims of this tragedy and appealed to the press to express their solidarity towards the victims and avoid using information that might cause more harm.

At least 30 dead people have already been pulled out of debris of the ex-seven-floor of (DNIC).
