They have scored twelve and six medals respectively after three days of competition.
After recording the first medal at the 10th edition of the FENASCO A Games in Bafoussam, the Centre Province has maintained her gripped on top of the medals table. By press time yesterday, the boys and girls from the capital city had scored a total of twelve medals. That is 6 in gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze. These medals came from gymnastics and athletics where Nsanga Christien and Ndogmo Mekemnang, set the paced by grabbing two gold medals in the male 200 m category and short put respectively. In the female category, Tshouga Ebene on whom the Centre Province had been counting could only grabbed silver for his side as Zimbelle from Adamawa ran faster than her.
The North West Province with 6 medals; 3 in gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze is second on the chart. Yesterday, in the 5000 metres ladies category, Ndianga and Wirnkar ran faster than their opponents to grab gold and silver. In the short put, it was the Angui Mildred who also got silver.
The third Province on the medal table is the South Province where Ngono Zibi grabbed bronze medal in the 200 m track and field event. The medal does not only rekindle hopes, but places the South on the 3rd position.

The South is tailed by Far North at the fourth position with two medals. In gold, and bronze. The two medals were recorded in high jump and the male 200 m athletics discipline by Ndingam. The Far North still have another chance of increasing their medal tally in athletics as they will be competing in the 4x400m race in the female category.
The Littoral despite their brilliant qualification for football finals has registered only one medal in gold. The West Province is still to get up from slumber. With three days gone, they have scored only 2 silver and 2 bronze. Adamawa is the last team with a medal in the competition. The lone silver medal was grabbed in the 200 metres by Zimbelle. With two days left, the South West, North and East provinces are still to gunning for a medal in the competition.
Meanwhile, in table tennis, the men and female double finals will be played today. In double ladies category, the North West will clash against the West and North against the Littoral. For the male double category, North West against the North, Littoral against West Province. In collective sports, the football finals will pit the representatives of the Littoral province Lycee of Akwa North to Lycee of Bayangam from the Adamawa. Both teams picked the finals ticket after emerging first in their respective pools. A bulk of the finals in individual and collective sports like handball, volleyball, basketball and traditional wrestling will be played.
