The trial of Dodou Janneh, alias Dodou boy, who is standing trial for allegedly murdering Sherrif Minteh, at Serekunda London Corner, did not proceed on Monday, 31 March, 2008. The case is at the Bundung Magistrates Court before Magistrate Kumba Sillah Camara.

The 7th prosecution witness, Kalilu Sanneh, who was the task force leader during a night patrol on that fateful day was not in court. The prosecution intimated to the court that PW7 went to attend the funeral ceremony of one of his relatives at Mandinaba.

The case is to resume on Tuesday,, 8 April, 2008, for the continuation of cross-examination by the defence counsel Lamin Camara.

It is totally unfair to adjourn this case once again because someone had to attend a funeral. A young boy lost his life and though buried, his family can only rest and be at peace if they know who and why their beloved son was murdered.
