He is leading in the general classification table. Despite having lost in the fourth lap of the race, Cameroon's Joseph Sanda is still in a good position to win the 6th edition of the international cycling tour of Cameroon thanks to the seven minutes advance he took during the first lap ran between his native area of Mokolo and Maroua.

Sanda still keeps the yellow jersey on the general classification table, the blue jersey for the best African and the white jersey for the best youth. He however lost the green T-shirt of winner of the lap and the red-doted white T-shirt of the best climber. As someone put it, should Sanda conserve the yellow jersey after the fifth lap today, then he is sure to win the race. However, it is going to be an uphill task for Sanda given that the arrival will be on the mountain and he just lost the title of best climber.

Sanda's victory comes to highlight the domination of Cameroonian athletes in the tour. They have so far won two laps, occupied the runner-position in the second lap but failed to future on the podium in the fourth lap. Ivan Viglasky fromSlovakia came first in the fourth lap, followed by Robert Glasza in the second position and Lokossue Kouame in the fourth position. It s worth mentioning that Sanda Joseph once more fell yesterday as during the second lap of the competition which seriously compromised his chances of winning the laps.
