Angola: CNIDAH Promotes "Landmines Beauty Pageant"

Landmines victims are to take part in a beauty contest this Wednesday, at Cine Tropical, here, in a promotion of the National Inter-Sectoral Commission of Demining and Humanitarian Assistance (CNIDAH).

ANGOP learnt of the information on Tuesday from CNIDAH's co-ordinator of the sub-commission of assistance to landmines victims, Madalena Neto, stating that the contest aims at sensitising the society on the need of giving opportunities to disabled people.

The gala, dubbed "Landmines Beauty Pageant", shall happen happens under the theme "beauty exists in every people, you only need to search for it", and will counts on the participation of candidates from the country's 18 provinces.
