One of the prime Pay-TV providers, GTV will this month launch four new channels. The new channels, according to a statement from GTV, will be jam packed with African programming, kids' content, nature programming and hit series from across the globe.

"Having firmly asserted itself as the home of live sports, Africa's best loved and fastest-growing pay-TV company is expanding its high quality programming and blazing a trail across the continent with the introduction of four new channels," the statement reads.

The four new channels, however, will only be revealed at an official launch next week.

The new channels will be an addition to the existing GTV bouguet alongside existing channels, including G Prime, the home of family entertainment in Africa, G Sports 1, G Sports 2, and GXtra. GTV subscribers will be able to view the new channels at no extra cost. "We made a commitment when we launched that GTV would remain focused on offering better quality, better value, and more choice as well as really listening to what consumers want. The very exciting launch of our new channels is one example of how we continue to deliver on that commitment and we'll keep giving more," GTV Botswana's General Manager Michael Essig said.
