A delegation of the Angolan Association of War Disable Soldiers (AMMIGA) will travel on Friday to Portugal, in order to attend an international meeting for disabled militaries, to happen in Lisbon from April 05 to 12.

According to AMMIGA's secretary for advocacy and head of the Angolan delegation, Lourenço Humba, the team will hold talks with similar organisations in view of cooperating.

That entity said that during the meeting, the Angolan delegation will present proposals that will enable a greater intervention by African governments in matters relating to disabled soldiers.

This assembly will deal with matters on the improvement of the living standards of disabled soldiers, and will outline future strategies for the organisation.
