An unidentified young man yesterday afternoon was killed by a forty-foot container on the Bushrod Island while en route to Monrovia.

According to eyewitness account, the young man who was riding a motorcycle met his demise when he ran his bike into the container which was traveling in the opposite direction.

The accident occurred at the intersection of the Ma-juah Market and the New Bridge. The body of the victim was taken to the Redemption Hospital in the borough of New Kru Town for deposit. Meanwhile the deceased has simply been identified as a money-exchanger from Sinkor.

The driver of the container has since been whisked to the Headquarters of the Liberia National Police for investigation.
