Asmara — Eritrea has joined the International Exhibitions Organization. The Eritrean Ambassador to France, Dr. Ahmed Hassan Dahli, presented his credentials to the Administrator of the organization's headquarters.
Meanwhile, the organization, grouping 152 member states, held its 143rd meeting on March 31 in which Eritrea took part. In the meeting, the Italian city of Milan was nominated to host the international exhibition due to take place in 2015.
Dr. Ahmed Hassan Dahli held talks with the Italian Foreign Minister, Mr. Massimo D'Alema, and the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Andrea Vento, as well the Mayor of Milan, on Eritrean-Italian relations.
