Monrovia — As the second phase of the Liberia Basketball Federation (LBF) 2008 National League heats up at the Sports Commission on Broad Street, two of the country's top teams are scheduled to clash on Sunday, April 6, 2008.

Fresh from conceding a defeat this week, Mighty Barrolle will be hoping to make a comeback against the Oilers of the Liberian Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC).

However, the LPRC Oilers could pose a major threat for the Rollers considering the fact that the former happens to be one of the two best basketball teams in the country along with the Pythons of the National Port Authority (NPA).

Prior to the big match on Sunday, Deviers will face Barnersville Celtics in game one, while the second match will involve SOS Trotters and FUBA in the lower division.

The weekend festivities will begin on Friday, April 4, 2008 with Cestos Mogars of Malcolm Joseph going against old name Sacbase. Subsequently, Wildcats and Cardinals will meet before Uhuru Kings and Flames of Zoegar Jaynes end the day.

Come Saturday, April 5, 2008, Star 1 and Heats will battle in game one. Phoenix and Survivors are expected to fight for supremacy in the female category. Thereafter, fans will see Dream Team 1 taking on the champions NPA Pythons.
