Addis Ababa — Eva Joly, an internationally known former prosecutor of corruption will visit Ethiopia next week to meet with the Federal Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission Commissioner Ali Suleiman and his staff.
According to Norwegian embassy in Addis Ababa, the former prosecutor will conduct three seminars on topics revolving around fighting corruption, essence of and targeting bribers and the bribed and illicit money from development perspective.
In collaboration with the Commission, UNECA and the Mekelle University .
During her stay in Ethiopia, Eva Joly is also scheduled to discuss with senior officials of the Ethiopian government, the African Union (AU), and the UN-Economic Commission for Africa, including the press and business community.
Joly is currently a special advisor to the Norwegian Minister of International Development.
Joly visit is organized in cooperation with the Norwegian Embassy in Addis Ababa, the embassy said in a statement.
