Angola: Peace Day Main Event Starts

Luanda

The main event commemorating the sixth anniversary of Peace and National Reconciliation, being marked this Friday, has begun in Bocoio district, central Benguela province.

Being presided over by the minister of Defence, Kundi Paihama, the event gathers thousands of people who celebrate this date with great joy, wearing shirts with words praising the peace, as well as the country's black, red and yellow flag.

The governmental delegation also comprises of the minister of Family and Women Promotion, Cândida Celeste, and the deputy ministers of Territory Administration, Mota Liz, and of Assistance and Social Welfare, Clarice Caputo.
