Luanda — The president of Angola's main opposition party (UNITA) Isaías Samakuva, Friday here considered that the six years of peace, attained on 4th April, 2002, should be used as a tool to materialise the dream of Angolan people, apart from pacifying the spirits.
The politician was speaking to press, on the sideline of an ecumenical mass held at Cidadela Desportiva, on the occasion of the celebration countrywide of the sixth anniversary of peace.
The leader of Unita said that this political deed must always be reflected by Angolans on what still has to be done aiming the consolidation of harmony reached in 2003.
4th April, 2002 marked the end of a war that ravaged the country for 27 years and ended with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding Complementary to Lusaka Protocol between the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) and former military forces of Unita.
