Zimbabwe: War Veterans On 'War Path' Against White Farmers

War veterans in Masvingo on Saturday temporarily invaded at least four white owned farms, as retaliation for the parliamentary defeat suffered by Robert Mugabe's Zanu-PF to Morgan Tsvangirai's MDC, during last week's general elections.

Mike Clarke, the chairman of the Commercial Farmers Union in Masvingo province, confirmed to Newsreel on Sunday that the 'rowdy' groups went to farms owned by John Borland and Graham Richards threatening to take over the farms.
