Angola: Citizens Celebrate Today Sixth Peace Anniversary

Various activities of political, social and cultural sphere are on agenda for this Saturday, in Canada, in commemoration of the sixth anniversary of the signing understanding memorandum that led to the end of the 27 years of the arm conflict in the country.

According to the referred programme that Angop had got access in Ottawa, the Angola embassy to Canada will promote, with the collaboration of the Angola local community, a talk to discuss the main aspects of this important historical event.

After the talk, to be chaired by the ambassador Miguel Nzau Puna, the compatriots will attend a photo exhibition, promoted by the diplomatic mission, which will demonstrates crucial moments of the Angolan peace process, as well as the changes that are taking place in the country.

It is also part of the agenda a meeting between the new management of the Angolan association in Montreal (CAM) and the ambassador Miguel Nzau Puna.
