Parliament speaker, Roberto de Almeida, says six years of peace should be used for a reflection

The speaker of the National Assembly, Roberto de Almeida, Saturday here said that the six years of peace should be used for reflection and assessment of what has been done so far.

Roberto de Almeida was speaking to press at the end of a gala on occasion of commemoration of six years of peace held at Talatona Conventions Centre, where singer Mário Gama presented his debut CD.

The speaker of Angolan Parliament affirmed that there still be a lot to be done in favour of peace and he thinks that we do not have to hurry up because "we may fall in a moment that we are heading on good path".

"Let us continue achieving our objectives and I believe that we will always have a greater wish of satisfying the needs of the people", he underscored.

In his turn, the first deputy speaker of the National Assembly, João Lourenço, said that he has not listened to the style of music sung by Mario Gama for a long time, as it is not usual and because there are few Angolans who sing the style of music of this singer.

"Mário Gama is the best of this style, there are few like Té Macedo, but without doubt he is the greatest and I would even say he is the master of those who have emerged", he praised.

João Lourenço reminded that for the holding of such shows one cannot only count on the Government, because it only defines policy and the society can sponsor this kind of concert.
