Lubango — At least Usd 997,000 will be released by the Namibian Government for the construction and equipping of a primary school in Lubango city, the capital of Angola's southern Huila province, Angop learned.
The school will comprise six classrooms, two residences and an office for the headmaster.
It will also have a playground for 420 students in two shifts.
The contract for the project was signed on Friday by Lubango's administrator, Virgilio Tyova, and the Namibian ambassador to Angola, Lineekela Mboti.
On the occasion, Lineekela Mboti said that the gesture was a recognition by Namibia's Government of Angola's contribute for his country to achieve independence.
