Kampala — CRANES regroup for residential training at Namboole hostel on Monday ahead of their Africa Nations Championships (CHAN) second leg match of the preliminary round against Eritrea next Friday.

Coach Laszlo Csaba vowed on Friday that there will be no loosening of the grip the Cranes attained with a 2-2 result in the first leg in Asmara. He added that he was ready to face whoever wins the other fixture between Kenya and Tanzania.

Cranes need at least a goal-less draw from the return leg to advance to the first round of the championships in May.

"I do not undermine Eritrea but our next opponents must be Kenya or Tanzania. At the moment I think my team is good enough to win against Eritrea here and advance to the next stage. I know Kenya beat Tanzania," Csaba said yesterday.
