Liberia: IB Launches Internet Banking

The International Bank (IB) Liberia Limited has launched a new component of banking, called Internet Banking.

Accordingly, the new Internet banking operated by IB allows customers financial transaction on a secure website.

Features and services offered include viewing list of linked accounts, viewing account history of transactions, print statement and send message to customer service, receive message from customer service, change password, order check book, stop check payment and order statement of account.

The IB Internet banking was launched recently at a local restaurant and entertainment spot in Monrovia.

According to IB's General Manager, Patrick Anumei, the bank is committed to ensuring professional banking in the interest of the numerous customers.

He said the internet banking would not only be satisfactory to corporate entities but also individuals who have account with the bank.

He said through the Internet banking one can review their account, know their balances, request for check book and do other things that are relevant to the banking Industry.

Mr. Anumei, who appeared confident at the launch urged individuals and corporate entities to take advantage of the new service.

The IB General Manager said the new IB would soon launch its SMS Banking as well as other modified products in the loan category.

The launching of the IB Internet Banking services brought together business leaders, members of the diplomatic corps, government officials and other personalities.
