The head of State of Benin, Boni Yayi, is due to visit Angola as from April 07, at the invitation of his Southern African country's counterpart, José Eduardo dos Santos.

According to a communiqué distributed to Angop, Boni Yayi, is coming to Angola to strengthen the two countries' friendship and cooperation ties.

During the trip, the two heads of State will hold talks on bilateral issues, taking into account the reinforcement of friendship and cooperation between the peoples and governments of Angola and Benin.

Benin is a West African nation, bordering to the north with Burkina Faso and Niger, to the east with Nigeria, to the south with Gulf of Guinea and to the west with Togo.
