The National Assembly will meet on Tuesday here in a solemn session to welcome the head of State of Benin, Boni Yayi, who is since Monday in Angola for a two-day visit.

The session will be marked by a speech by Benin's president, before a short intervention of the speaker of National Assembly, Roberto de Almeida.

Boni Yayi, who is visiting the country, at the invitation of his Angolan counterpart, José Eduardo dos Santos, was received at 4 de Fevereiro International Airport by the minister of Foreign Affairs, João Bernardo de Miranda, Government members and officials of the West African nation's consulate in Angola.

At the company of his wife Chantar Yayi, the president of Benin will for two days hold talks with Angolan head of State on issues of bilateral interest, taking into account the strengthening of friendship and cooperation ties between both peoples and governments.
