Angola's head of State José Eduardo dos Santos Monday here analysed with the president of the West African nation of Benin, Boni Yayi, issues of bilateral interest.

During the private meeting, part of the two-day visit of Beninese leader to Angola, the two statesmen also discussed matters concerning the international situation with highlight to Africa.

On his arrival in Luanda, president Boni Yayi told journalists that he is in Angola to transmit and renew the love and solidarity from Beninese people.

He added that the trip will also enable to strengthen the bilateral cooperation relations in various sectors.

The head of State of the West African country of Benin is due to receive compliments of courtesy from the Angolan Prime Minister, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, before attending an official dinner offered by the host president.

On Tuesday, Mr Yayi will participate in a special session at the Angolan Parliament.

He will bid farewell to president José Eduardo dos Santos yet on Friday, before returning to his county.
