An international seminar on "Supervision of Public Works of the National Reconstruction" will be held on 10-11 April in Luanda, under the promotion of Audit Court, as part of celebrations of the institution's seventh anniversary, on 12 April.

According to a press release, delivered Monday to ANGOP, the event, expected to take place at Luanda's Congresses palace facilities, will gather experts from Angola, Cape Verde, Brazil, Portugal and São Tome and Principe, during which the participants will share experiences on the issue.

Addressing the opening session will be the Angolan National Assembly (parliament) Speaker, Roberto de Almeida, whereas the country's Prime minister, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos is expected to close the ceremony.

The two-day meeting will address topics related to the "Tenders and Adjudication of Public Works", "Supervision and Use of the Public Works", "Preventive and Successive Supervision in the framework of the competences of Audit Courts" and "The State's General Audit and its Importance".

"Public/Private partnerships and their importance", "Professional ethics of auditors" and "The public debt in underdeveloped countries" are amongst other matters to be discussed.
