Luanda — The remains of the former coach of Angolan first division women team of handball, Armando Gomes "Culau", who died Saturday in a road accident, will be buried on Tuesday at Luanda's Sant'Ana cemetery, Angop learned. The remains will be driven from Sagrada Esperança clinic to his home and afterwards to the cemetery.
The accident took place Friday when Armando Gomes was travelling to Quibala district, central Kwanza-Sul province. The vehicle in which he was travelling overturned as a result of a flat tyre.
By the time of his death, Culau, 45, was the coach of Petro de Luanda women team. He worked for the club some 18 years, having won national and African trophies.
