The Ministry of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security (MAPESS) has released AKz 16.1 million for the construction and equipping of a professional training centre at Cuvelai district, southern Cunene province.

The MAPESS' provincial director, Oliveira Albino da Cruz, told ANGOP Monday that the works, started in August 2007, are in their conclusion phase.

According to the official, the construction of the centre at Cuvelai will enable to expand the professional training in Cunene province, thus helping the youths to get job.

Oliveira Albino also emphasised that the opening of the centre will promote the training programme of youths and re-qualifying of those who, for some reason, did not benefit from technical professional training.
