Nigeria: Governance - UNILAG Hosts Town Hall Meeting

Lagos — The Coalition for Issues-Based Politics and Good Governance (CIPOGG) an affiliate of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) has concluded arrangements to flag-off the meetings at the University of Lagos on April 10 for students and youths; in its bid to promote awareness and understanding of the functions and responsibilities of the local governments in candidates and voters by encouraging citizens participation in the voting process.

CIPOGG is a coalition of Civil society organisations (CSOs), non-governmental and community-based organisations (NGOs and CBOs), faith-based organisations, media, women groups, labour, organised private sector, academia and government agencies working together.
