ZIMBABWE yesterday released two journalists held on charges of reporting on the elections without accreditation after spending five days in detention.
New York Times reporter Barry Bearak, along with an unidentified British citizen, was taken into custody in the Zimbabwean capital of Harare last week, accused of reporting without official accreditation. Both have been released on bail but still must appear in court.
