Three teams are vying for the title as the race intensifies in the Kavango Women's Football League with a paltry three points separating early pace-setters Sunshine Football Club and third placed Sarusungu Beauties FC after seven rounds of matches.

Sunshine FC are the only unbeaten side in the league so far - having notched up five wins and two draws to go top of the table on 17 points followed by RCE Soccer Babes FC, a mere point adrift.

In the bottom half, fourth placed Young Ones are a distant 12 points off the pace of the log leaders but still boast a game in hand over the runaway title-chasing trio above them.

Winless Noordgrens are occupying the basement with their only point courtesy of a draw after losing three matches and having conceded the most number of goals alongside Super Strikers (11) while finding the opposition's net on one occasion.
