The knockout education AIDS puppet play, The Trumpet Player, will be staged on public demand next Monday at several higher education institutions and secondary schools in the capital.
According to Assitej-Namibia's (Organization of Theatre to Children and Young People) national coordinator, Richard Swartz, many requests to perform the play in public have so far been received by his organization.
The Trumpet Player, depicting the heartrending story of a mother and her school-going son who are both infected by HIV/AIDS, has already been staged to more than 10, 000 secondary school learners in the south, the north and in the east of the country.
