The Bell Lager Party With Your Stars concerts were crowned last Friday with a gig at Kati Kati, Lugogo by-pass with no actual announcement of a second artiste that would be a beneficiary to a recording contract at Abbey Studios in London.

Henry Tigan was the first and only direct winner of the contract to record at the studios as the prize that came with winning the 2007 Pam new artiste category. However, during the Party with your stars activations, Bell Lager gave chance to revellers to choose a second artiste for the contract.

After tallying results from Bell Lager bottle tops that fans used to cast their ballots, reigning Female Artiste of the year Sophie Nantongo emerged winner with 570,000 votes.

At the concert, Bobi Wine in a rather "Big Brother" tone stated he was giving his support to the young upcoming artistes in the industry rather than competing for the recording deal.

The self-styled Ghetto President billed for songs like Abalungi Balumya and Kiwani went on to thank the not-so-big crowd for their loyalty for turning up to show support for the artistes. Bebe Cool was the other contender for the reward.

General Mega Dee, Henry Tigan, Peter Miles and Menshan, Rocky Giant, Sweet Kid, Sophie Nantongo and the Kombat Dancers performed. The chatty emcees of the night, Patrico Mujuka and Ruth Wanyana also gave revellers every reason to have a light laugh at every appearance.
