Kuito — Angola's central Bie province governor, Jose Amaro Taty, Thursday in Kuito assured that his staff is working hard to host fourth school games set for May this year in the region, Angop learnt.
The official who said so while assessing the preparations for the event, underlined that a commission is working to secure transports, food and accommodation for the participants from the country's 18 provinces. At least 15 sports infrastructures are being repaired and constructed for the mentioned games. Meanwhile, various seminars designed for referees, technicians, sports agents and officials have been taking place in Bie province for the purpose.
In his turn, the provincial director for the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Carlos da Silva, said at least 1,000 students may participate in the games. A press conference with the participation of State institutions and media will be held on Monday to clarify aspects linked to the organisation of the games.
