Angola: Bengo - Higher Technical Institute Opens Academic Year

Caxito — The academic year at the nucleus of the Angola's Higher Technical Institute (ISTA) started this week in Caxito, the capital of Angola's northern Bengo province, thus becoming the first in the region running university degrees, Angop learnt.

At least 60 students are enrolled with the private higher institute in the region for this year in the courses of public administration and management and telecommunication engineering.

There are two classrooms and 12 teachers working at ISTA.

Based in Luanda, ISTA teaches subjects such as telecommuncation engineering, electronics, electricity, electromechanics, administration and accounting and management.
