Angola: Ruling Party Meets With Luanda Journalists

Officials with the ruling MPLA party Thursday in Luanda met with journalists from various organs to learn about the media professionals' views about the country's social, political and economic situation, Angop witnessed.
The meeting is part of a cycle of meetings planned by the party in order to learn about their opinions from the point of view of the preparations for the legislative elections set for September this year in Angola.
At the gathering, participants get acquainted with the composition of the commission coordinating MPLA electoral campaign, led by its secretary general, Juliao Mateus Paulo "Dino Matross", assisted by Joao Lourenço, a members of the party politburo.
Other members are the secretary for information, Norberto dos Santos, Faustino Muteka, Kundi Paihama, Paulo Pombolo, Afonso Van-Dunem "Mbinda" and Luzia Ingles, all of them with politburo seat.
It also includes Mario Antonio de Carvalho, Frederico Cardoso and Carolina Cerqueira, as well as Rui Pinto de Andrade, the head of the commission for press, marketing and research.
