The world is really changing. Yesteryears, parents would tell their children to "turn their faces" or leave the sitting room when something indecent, such as a scene involving passionate kissing or people doing "foolish", were being broadcast on television. Today, however, things have changed. Parents prefer to leave when filthy images are broadcast, while children look on in excitement! Some children, as young as eight, even have the audacity to comment on the quality of a kiss and what they would have done if put in the shoes of the actors! Embarrassing!

How would it not be so when pornographic films, books, music and images are offered to children round the clock? The example of these television series from the white man's land, where the actors spend a good part of their time "chopping their lips", playing the "adult game" or imitating the "snake dance", comes to mind! Elsewhere, such programmes are marked +12, +16, +18, etc. Moreso, they are broadcast when it is believed that most children are in bed. But here, they are just dished out during prime time, with no warning. No indication as to who should have access to it!

This might amuse some people. But it is not funny at all! You would know the degree of damage this is causing our children when your 10-year-old starts having the urge to make "jigi jigi".
