Nairobi — Turnover at the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) slackened to Sh966 million, down from Sh1.1 billion posted last week as cabinet talks collapsed during the same period. The number of shares traded also dropped to 28 million from 30 million shares the previous week. The bond market was not spared either.
It witnessed a downswing in activity, with bonds totaling to Sh595 million transacted compared to Sh1 billion posted the previous week.
