Namibia: Namibia Produces Four World Champions

Namibia produced four world champions at the World Field Archery Championships which were concluded at Heja Lodge outside Windhoek on Saturday.

Namibia's gold medallists were Hofmeyer van Blerk in the Freestyle Limited Compound Cub Male category, Eunice Pieterse in the Female Cub category, Oliver Rohrmuller in the Freestyle Unlimited Junior Male category, and Beatrix van der Merwe in the Bowhunter Unlimited Adult Female category. Namibia's Allesio Araujo won a silver medal in the Bowhunter Unlimited Junior Female category, while Henk van Blerk won bronze in the Freestyle Unlimited Junior Male category and Francois Marais bronze in the Bowhunter Unlimited Junior Male category.
