Eritrean citizens living in Lebanon and Syria reaffirmed their readiness to fulfill what is required of them in safeguarding the nation's sovereignty and enhancing development programs. The nationals voiced their commitment at a public meeting they conducted in Beirut on April 9, during which they donated over 12,600 dollars in support of the national cause.

The Eritrean Consul General in Lebanon, Mr. Humed Yahya Hali, indicated that the Eritrean people are exerting continuous efforts to build a prosperous nation through reinforcing their unity and steadfastly rebuffing enemy hostilities and conspiracies.

Expressing their readiness to meet any eventuality through standing alongside their people and government, members of the Eritrean Community in Lebanon and Syria asserted that they would enhance contribution towards reinforcing the national development drive.
