Luanda — South African minister of Science and Technology, Mosibudi Mangena arrived in Angolan this Monday to sign the general cooperation accord in the sector with his local counterpart, João Baptista Gandagina, in a ceremony being held at Talatona Conventions Centre, in Luanda.
According to his work agenda, before signing the agreement, the South African official, who will fulfil a two-day visit, will also meet with his Angolan colleague and with the minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Afonso Pedro Canga.
On Tuesday morning, Mosibudi Mangena will visit the National Fisheries Research Institute and the National Commission of Information Technologies, and shall later be received in audience by the Angolan prime minister, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos.
The South African minister, leading a delegation made up of six-top officials from his sector, is expected back in his country on Tuesday afternoon, whilst the other members of his caravan will only leave Luanda on Thursday due to work reasons.
Angola and South Africa also cooperate in the framework of the collaboration within the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
