Havana — An Angolan delegation, led by the country's ambassador to Cuba, Antonio Jose de Condesse de Carvalho, is attending the 10th Conference on African and Afro-American Culture taking place in Cuba on April 14-17, Angop learnt.
The meeting will discuss issues relating to literature and linguistics, history and ethnology, religion, gender, race and cultural identity.
At the opening ceremony, the provincial director of culture in Sao Tiago de Cuba, Dania Mesa Valenciana, explained that the meeting aims at creating a room for social science investigators, plastic artists, physicians, choreographers, dancers and religious entities.
The culture attaché of the Angolan embassy to Cuba, Antonio Gonçalves, presented a theme.
Other countries attending the meeting will be Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Dr Congo and others.
