Uige — Angola's Youth and Sports minister Jose Marcos Barrica on Monday in Negage district, northern Uige province, appealed to the youths to vote with responsibility in the coming elections, set for September this year.
"Youths are on called to vote with responsibility. No one should leave to this civic act unfulfilled", said the official while addressing the central event of the celebrations of the Angolan Youth Day, April 14.
According to Marcos Barrica, voting is very important for this class as it is the more representative in matters of population in the country.
April 14 was consecrated Angolan Youth Day after the holding of the general extraordinary assembly of the National Council of Youths, in July 2005.
