Maputo — The Mozambican police say that to proceed and make more detentions they still need complete information about the names of the accomplices of Aldina Hermenegildo dos Santos, alias Diana, who stands accused for the trafficking of girls for sexual exploitation in South Africa, reports Tuesday's issue of the Maputo daily 'Noticias'.
Difficulties in identifying Diana's accomplices are felt also in South Africa, where she committed most of the crimes of which she is accused.
The police in both countries are only working on pseudonyms provided by Diana, which do not fully identify those people in both countries.
However, the police say that there will be no change in the fixed date for the beginning of Diana's trial, 12 May.
Before this date, South African police experts are to come to Mozambique for further investigations, with the support of the Mozambican police.
In principle, the trial will take place in Garfontein, in Pretoria, where Diana is kept under police custody, accused of private imprisonment and torture of the trafficked girls.
In Mozambique she is being accused of seduction, kidnapping, and possession and use of forged documents.
Diana was born in Maputo, but registered in Inharrime, in the southern Inhambane province.
